Mike Feden, Head Baker

Mike graduate from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in 2004. He worked every station while at Pasta, Too for nearly two years before accepting the position of Head Pastry Chef for Boyne Mountain Resort in Michigan. After the arrival of his son Dominic he moved back to Pittsburgh and took a head baking position at Dozen Cupcakes. He is now a Head Baker for Dozen Bake Shop.
Jessica Fauver, Head Baker

Jessica graduated from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in 2006. She began working for Dozen Bake Shop shortly after we opened in January. An artist at heart, she brings her attention to detail to the bakery. Her pies are some of the best ever baked! Before baking for Dozen she honed her skills at the Upper St. Clair Country Club (and Dairy Queen!). But she certainly feels at home in the sunshine-filled kitchens of the bake shop.
Rachel Katz, Head Baker - Dozen Cupcakes

Rachel has followed a passion for baking from her earliest years, when she and her dad would work their magic for friends and family in their home kitchen in Minneapolis. Her love of baking culminated with her 2007 graduation from Le Cordon Bleu in London. After living abroad in England and Spain, Rachel moved to Pittsburgh, eventually bringing her experiences and creativity to Squirrel Hill as the Head Baker of Dozen Cupcakes. Rachel is now baking at Dozen Bake Shop, where she is building her repertoire and creating even more new and delicious treats.
Dan Rizzo, Apprentice Baker

A recent high school grad, Dan is learning the rules of professional pastry baking at Dozen Bake Shop before he heads out to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY this fall.
