Dozen Bake Shop is changing the way Pittsburghers think about dessert. No longer a place to rush in and get some sweets and rush out. At the Bake Shop we encourage you stay for a bit, enjoy your coffee and pastry. Heck, why not sit all day! Enjoy the company, the free WiFi, and the yummy made-from-scratch desserts. Our kitchen is wide open so you can see all the desserts being made! And who doesn't want to watch a baker frosting cupcakes? And guaranteed, you'll get the friendliest service from our staff.

Our coffee bar features Intelligentsia Coffee, Tea, and Espresso,
and we carry local milk from Turner Dairy alongside other specialty beverages. We also carry "GIVE" water, a local water company that donates

And of course, you'll be able to get the best cupcakes in Pittsburgh!

About the owners and staff:

James and Andrew both live in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood. James attended culinary school in Chicago and worked as a baker and cook in several Chicago restaurants. His best work went down in his Lincoln Square apartment, throwing dinner parties that would make the folks at Gourmet take a second look.

Andrew grew up in the Pittsburgh region and is excited to be here after nearly a decade in Chicago. Also an independent graphic designer, Andrew brings business and cultural knowledge paired with a long-standing love for Pittsburgh.

The rest of our staff includes assistant bakers, counter staff, and 'kitchen engineers' who all work hard to make Dozen Bake Shop Pittsburgh's favorite destintation for a sweet treat.
